Meet Dr. Robinson

Frederick E. Robinson III, DMD

Dr. Robinson was born in Providence, Rhode Island and raised in Canton, Massachusetts. He is a graduate of Catholic Memorial High School and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Providence College in 1990. Dr. Robinson received his Doctorate in Dental Medicine cum laude from the Goldman School of Dental Medicine at Boston University in 1994. In 1995, Dr. Robinson completed his residency in General Dentistry at the University of Vermont College of Medicine and the Medical Center Hospital of Vermont in Burlington. Dr. Robinson interned at the Boston University School of Medicine Surgery Training Program in 1996-1997. He received his Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery through the Boston University Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program at Boston Medical Center (Boston City Hospital and University Hospital), Tuft/New England Medical Center and the Boston Veterans Administration Medical Center from 1995-1999.

Dr. Robinson established his practice in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with Dr. Patrick Farren and Dr. Christopher Wolkowicz in 1999 and is currently the Division Director of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at St. Lukes Hospital in New Bedford, Massachusetts.

Dr. Robinson resides in New Bedford and enjoys spending time with his three children.

Dr. Robinson is a United States Coast Guard licensed captain and an avid sportfisherman. His passion is flyfishing, tying many of his own flies and traveling to remote locations. Dr. Robinson also enjoys skiing, playing golf and is a diehard local sports fan.
